Tom Bacon, Bacon Commercial Real Estate

Tom Bacon, CCIM, President, has been a commercial real estate professional since 1984, beginning his career as an office broker in Southern California, where he earned "Rookie of the Year" at Charles Dunn Company and later specialized in tenant representation at Cushman & Wakefield. He handled significant assignments, including a record 340,000-square-foot office lease in Los Angeles. Relocating to Sacramento in 1991, Tom expanded his expertise to include office leasing, sales, and residential development transactions in Midtown and Downtown. Since founding Bacon Commercial Real Estate in 2003, he has facilitated over 1,000,000 square feet of leasing and sales, representing a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, and government entities. Outside work, Tom enjoys music, travel, golf, swimming, and cooking, and is active in Rotary International, Junior Achievement, and other community programs. He holds degrees in Economics and English from the University of the Pacific and is an active CCIM.

Matt Hurd, Walnut Creek Colliers International

Matt joined Colliers from Transwestern In 2017 where he held the position of Senior Vice President and was a Top 5 producer in each of his last 5 years. He has built his business in Walnut Creek for the past 16 years and specializes in assisting tenants and landlords with the leasing and sales of office buildings throughout the East Bay.  
Matt has used his superior market knowledge and understanding of the leasing and sales process to complete over 500 transactions in his career.  Matt is an expert in assisting his clients in the following areas: Space planning, Site selection, Market analysis, Financial modeling, Lease negotiations. Matt currently resides in the East Bay with his wife Anna and their daughter, Eloise.

Markus Shayeb, Tri Commercial

 Markus, Senior Vice President and San Francisco Managing Director, plays a key role in leading and shaping the growth of the San Francisco office, driving strategic goals, and optimizing brokerage processes to enhance business innovation. With over 30 years of experience in San Francisco's commercial real estate market, he has successfully closed more than 500 transactions, advising corporate tenants on office space solutions such as expansions, relocations, and lease restructuring. Markus has represented notable clients like Nestle, Liberty Mutual, and the California Medical Association, providing strategic planning, marketing, and tenant advisory services. His career includes senior roles at Colliers International, Transwestern, and TRI Commercial, as well as founding Square Four Real Estate.

Kareem Barzegar, Kidder Mathews 

Kareem Barzegar, CCIM, CPM, is a Senior Vice President at Kidder Mathews, specializing in tenant representation for office lease transactions. With over 20 years of experience, he has completed more than 500 leasing assignments, earning over 50 letters of recommendation. Before joining Kidder Mathews, Kareem refined his skills at Avison Young, Cassidy Turley, and Grubb & Ellis. He holds two top industry certifications: Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and Certified Property Manager (CPM). Outside his career, Kareem is dedicated to philanthropy, founding The CARE Group in 2017 and serving as President of RECON San Francisco from 2012 to 2017, both supporting underprivileged children in the Bay Area. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from San Francisco State University and enjoys mountain biking, fishing, snowboarding, and family time.

Edward Del Beccaro, TRI Commercial

Ed’s career spans 40 years in the real estate industry in the San Francisco Bay area. After starting his career at Grubb & Ellis in 1977, Ed ran his own development company from 1983 - 1992. Ed’s background includes brokerage, property development both residential and commercial, property management, property entitlements and consulting. Since getting back into full-time brokerage, Ed has been the East Bay manager at Colliers, Grubb & Ellis, Transwestern, and most recently TRI Commercial where he built up an office of 30 brokers, property management and staff and 4 offices in Walnut Creek, San Jose, Oakland, and San Francisco.

Ed has represented the following cities:  Walnut Creek, San Ramon, Clayton, and Concord in their excess sites along with consulting agreements for Antioch, Walnut Creek, Benicia, & Hayward. In his career, Ed has leased or sold over three million square feet of real estate. A few current and past clients include UCSF, UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital, California Bank & Trust, Mechanics Bank, Wells Fargo, and Community Bank. Ed serves as Vice Chair of the EDA, is Board Director of the Jobs & Housing Coalition, and is a Board Member of the East Bay Leadership Council.
